The unidentified victims of unsolved murders have a voice in this mystery drama, thanks to the work of a group of amateur detectives in Chicago who've dubbed themselves the Forgotten Network—and via the narration, which is provided by the deceased. Led by former cop Alex Donovan (Christian Slater), who quit the force after his 8-year-old daughter went missing, the team hopes to both I.D. the victims and solve the crimes. Among the cases: a woman who left behind her engagement ring before disappearing; a shooting victim whose body was recovered from a drainage tunnel; a double homicide near a sleazy motel; and the discovery of what may be the remains of Donovan's daughter.
