Winter Olympics8/7c NBCThe most anticipated event of the Games is this evening, with Kim Yu-Na of South Korea the favorite in the women's figure-skating final. She is coached by two-time silver medalist Brian Orser. The U.S. champ is Rachael Flatt, who has a skating great in her corner as well in 1976 gold-medal winner Dorothy Hamill. She "has been working on the finesse of my skating," says Flatt. Contenders also include Japan's Mao Asada; Canada's Joannie Rochette, who gave an emotional performance in Tuesday's short program just two days after the death of her mother; and American Mirai Nagasu. U.S. jumpers may not be favored in freestyle skiing's aerials final, but they do have two capable contenders in Jeret "Speedy" Peterson and Ryan St. Onge, who has not fared well since winning the 2009 World Championships. Also in prime time is Nordic combined's individual large-hill final, with Bill Demong (U.S.) the reigning world champ.
