This program finds Irish music legends the Chieftains in pursuit of another of their innovative cross-cultural musical experiences. This time they mix their pipes and fiddles with some of the biggest stars in American country music. Among the featured artists are Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, Chet Atkins, and Don Williams. In good troubadour tradition, they trade songs all around the room, with some new twists on old favorites such as "Wabash Cannonball" and "Good Night Irene."
