Brad Womack, who chose no one in his 2007 stint in the Bachelor Malibu mansion, returns for a second shot at love as Season 15 opens. But before he meets 30 new would-be brides, he's confronted by his spurned '07 finalists, Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas. Then the first bachelorette to emerge from the limousine slaps him. Others are friendlier (if sometimes wary) at the opening cocktail party, after which Brad culls the field to 20.

Week 2: Train Performs in Private Concert

The 20 survivors of the opening cocktail party move into the Malibu mansion. Three will soon move out, following Brad's consultations with 2010 "Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez, the bachelor she chose. But first there's a Train concert at the Hollywood Bowl and pampering at a Beverly Hills hotel for Brad and one contestant, and visit to a carnival for Brad and another. And Brad shoots a Red Cross Blood Donor Month public-service announcement with 15 of the other bachelorettes.

Week 3: Action Movie Date

Seal serenades Brad and one of the 17 remaining contestants, three of whom will leave (one of her own volition). But first, there's an action-movie shoot, a rooftop pool party and a date in which the woman struggles to tell Brad about a past tragedy.

Week 4: Radio Show Date

Fourteen women remain, one of whom has a black eye and no idea (she says) of how she got it. Before three are eliminated, nine appear on the radio show "Loveline With Mike & Dr. Drew," while one rappels down the side of an L.A. skyscraper with Brad and another accompanies him to Catalina Island, where she'll have to overcome her fear of water. Then there's the pre-elimination cocktail party, at which Brad picnics privately with one bachelorette, leaving the others unhappy, to say the least.

Week 5: Las Vegas Dates

Brad and the 11 remaining bachelorettes (three of whom will be eliminated) head to Las Vegas for a day at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and an evening at Cirque du Soleil's "Viva ELVIS" show, which includes a duet by Brad and one contestant. Unfortunately for another, it takes place during a two-on-one date, and she's the odd gal out. The episode's one-on-one date is a shopping trip to an upscale mall, followed by a rooftop dinner. And at the cocktail party, there's a display of confidence.

Week 6 (S15)

Brad and the eight remaining bachelorettes visit Costa Rica. Before sending two home, he squires one around the Central American nation in a helicopter and ventures into a cave that bats and spiders call home with another. There's also more rappelling, this time down a rain-forest waterfall with the other six. And before the rose ceremony, one gal sneaks into his room, but things don't go as planned.

Week 7: Anguilla

Brad and the six remaining bachelorettes visit the Caribbean island of Anguilla for bicycling, a farmers'-market tour, a deserted-island tryst and a Sports Illustrated swimsuit photo shoot. Four win roses, but one gal is asked to leave during a date. Brad quickly makes up his mind about the other loser as well, and cancels the cocktail party. Anguillan reggae star Bankie Banx performs.

Week 8: Brad's Hometown Dates

Brad visits the four remaining bachelorettes in their hometowns, where he faces an intimidating dad and ambitious career goals, not to mention a lack of passion on his part. One is dispatched at a New York City rose ceremony, then Brad and the other three head for South Africa.

Week 9: South Africa

Brad, Ashley H., Chantal and Emily visit South Africa, where the modes of transportation range from helicopter to elephant, and accommodations include a tree house for two (accessible only by fantasy-suite card). But one dinner isn't as romantic as Brad had hoped it would be, and after he pares the field to the two finalists, all three head to Cape Town for a meeting with his family. The 12th-season competitors on "Dancing With the Stars" are announced during the show.

Season 15 finale: Brad has one rose left, to give to either Emily Maynard or Chantal O'Brien after they meet his family in Cape Town, South Africa. Brad and Chantal swim in shark-infested waters (literally) while Emily's figurative shark is her daughter. Emily's final date is a helicopter tour of Cape Town that includes stunning views of the Cape of Good Hope. Then comes Brad's decision.
