The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You
Rentaro Aijo really likes girls, and he easily falls in love. But girls don't really like him. By the time he finishes middle school, he has already confessed love to 100 different girls, and they all rejected him. He prays to a shine for someone to love him. The God of Love informs him that due to an error by this god, Rentaro is destined to have 100 different soulmates in his life. But this blessing or curse will only be activated after Rentaro starts attending high school. Shortly after starting high school, Rentaro is courted by two different girls who fell in love with him at first sight. One of them is the wealthy heiress Hakari Hanazono, the other is the feisty tsundere Karane Inda. Unable to choose between them, Rentaro dates both of them. Since Hakari and Karane have a mutual affection and attraction between them, they start enjoying their new life. As additional girlfriends join the group in a polyamorous relationship, the various members start acting as each other's surrogate family. Rentaro goes out of his way to keep every girl safe and happy. The group's life is rather complicated because several of the members have eccentric ideas and obsessions, most of them have no previous romantic experiences, and a few of them used to be reclusive loners. They have to get used to the idea of having close friends and loved ones.

Her actual name is Nadeshiko Yamato, a former heiress to a wealthy and old-fashioned family. Her mother was overly strict and abusive with her, allowing her no freedom to speak or to express herself in any way. Nadeshiko's first exposure to the concept of "free speech" was an American video-tape. She has since embraced American symbols as emblems of freedom and self-expression, and she was kicked out and disinherited by her mother in retaliation. Hahari hired Naddy as a teacher primarily for her looks and cheerful attitude, but Naddy seems deeply insecure despite her frequent smiles. Despite being older than them, Naddy is actually less experienced in romance or friendship than most of Rentaro's love interests, since she was not allowed to have friends or classmates as a child.
