The Wedding
Mitch Moore is a womanizing DJ on a controversial late night radio show. He has no problem with dumping his latest conquest, Ally, for the next girl, leaving a desolate Ally turning to the bottle for consolation and putting herself at risk. He has a married sister, Kelly, who is disturbed to find herself attracted to one of her pupils. Aaron, and is shocked when she later recognizes his voice when phoning into Mitch's radio show admitting his attraction for his teacher. As for Mitch, he is best friends with Woody, his colleague on his radio show, who is preparing to get married to his fiance Claire Bellingham after 8 years together. But what Woody doesn't know is that Mitch has always carried a torch for Claire. And when one night Claire walks out on Woody after an argument and turns up at Mitch's flat for comfort, it soon turns to passion and the start of all their troubles.

Claire is full of guilt after her one night stand with Mitch after returning home to an oblivious Woody, which is all the more awkward as they are only days away from their wedding. Unfortunately Mitch is eager to continue their affair and urges her to call off the wedding. His sister Kelly is beginning to panic after Aaron, her pupil at school, starts phoning the house. With husband Scott's daughter Charlotte staying with them for a while, she tries to persuade him to try for another baby. But when he rebuffs her, she finds herself being drawn towards her young admirer. Meanwhile Ally decides to give up alcohol after her scare with a pizza delivery man, but is disconcerted when she finds herself attracted to a waitress at a cafe she dines at.

Claire and Woody are married, but Claire can't stop thinking about Mitch. They bump into him at the Radio Awards ceremony party, where he has his boss Cassie on his arm as a date, but it's clear that neither are over the other and before long they are indulging in an affair again. But mobile phones could prove their undoing as someone's inquisitive nature and another's missed calls culminate in exposed secrets and a tragic twist of fate. Meanwhile Kelly confesses to Claire that she is having an affair, but neglects to mention that it's with one of her pupils and soon she is feeling the pressure of keeping the affair under wraps. And Ally continues to spiral in her life, this time taking up an offer from a customer where she works to go as his escort for a business party. But when she brings him home to her flat, events take an unexpected and dramatic turn.

It's the day of Claire's father's funeral, but Claire is racked with remorse for being in bed with Mitch when she missed Woody's urgent calls to her when her father was in hospital. And eventually guilt gets the better of her and she confesses all to Woody, leading to him storming off to confront Mitch. Mitch sees this as an opportunity to finally get together with Claire, but she is just devastated at the collapse of her marriage, and little does Mitch realize that his life is soon about to crumble around him. He is not the only one as Kelly discovers she is pregnant, but her attempts to pass it off as her husband's fail when Scott has a devastating revelation of his own as her actions finally catch up with her. Meanwhile Ally finally seems to be getting her life on track after being rescued from a cult organization by Claire's boss Harry and the two start dating. But with their twenty year age gap, can their relationship really work or is it doomed to failure?
