Take the Tower
To win a paid trip to New York City and a cash prize, a geared up contestant and his or her three teammates, usually film buff friends or family members, must reach the top of the tower where the evil gamemaster, action movie legend Dolph Lundgren, awaits them for the final challenge, a shooting duel game. On each floor, one of the contestant's teammates is kidnapped by Dolph's henchmen or put in some other kind of danger. The contestant then must win physical challenges, logic puzzles or trivia quizzes mostly based on action movies to rescue them. If the contestant fails, their teammate is "killed off" by Dolph, who first taunts the victim and then, after delivering a one-liner or one of his movie catchphrases, pushes him or her through his penthouse window to their "death." The teammate that gets "killed off" can not collect the prize even if their team does win at the end. Being the team leader, the contestant is the only one who can not get kidnapped, and who will reach the top of the tower for the final duel with Dolph even if they lose all of their teammates to Dolph's death traps in the process. If the contestant loses to Dolph, the game is still lost even if the contestant manages to rescue all three of his or her teammates.
