Arthur (Judd Hirsch) feels threatened when a food truck begins doing business in front of his donut shop. However, he reluctantly changes his mind and even softens towards Sofia (Diane Guerrero) when Franco (Jermaine Fowler) and Randy (Katey Sagal) tells him there's nothing he can do to make Sofia leave. Franco and Sofia hook up, but when Franco gets accepted to art school, he meets Tavi (Shamikah Martinez). After taking time away from her work, Randy decides to level up and rejoin the force as a detective and takes Tush (David Koechner) with her. Sweatpants (Rell Battle) is forced by a cash-strapped Franco to think about his own future. Meanwhile, Fawz (Maz Jobrani) continues to persuade Arthur to sell him his donut shop. Cedric the Entertainer, Keith David, and Christopher McDonald make special guest appearances.
