Streetwise and a rival courier company race to see which is faster through central London. One of the Streetwise couriers is involved in a hit and run accident and Billie is the only witness.

Owen tries to convince Billie to tell the police what she saw of the accident and takes her out on the circuit for the first time. Troop is convinced a package he is carrying contains a bomb.

Billie is put 'on the clock' to see if she can cut it as a courier and Gina tries to help her to get fit. Dave, still in hospital, starts physiotherapy. Christian joins the firm as a new rider and Billie sees the hit and run vehicle again.

Business is down after Streetwise loses its biggest client. The riders use the spare time to search for the ambulance. The Scatchi brothers threaten to bring in new management if Bob and Diana can't turn the business around quickly.

Dave, penniless and ineligible for government benefits, asks Diana for financial support. Gina and Troop chase the ambulance across London and confront the driver. Det. Insp. Sewell finally calls in the police to help.

Owen suspects a customer of fraud. The new owners arrive at the Streetwise office and offer a lifeline in the form of a lease option. Everyone pitches in with trying to raise the money needed. Troop tries to raise his share by gambling.
