While visiting a museum, Spider-Woman sees some of the events with her Spider-Vision and both her (as Jessica Drew) and Jeff hear a tremendous scream that wakes up a mummy and she has to turn to Spider-Woman to handle the situation. Around the world, a lot of mummies begin to wake up and walk. The Justice magazine team (Jessica, Billy and Jeff) heads towards Egypt to investigate. Inside the pyramid, the mummy reveals Spider-Man that his race are invaders from space that have been in suspended animation and their whole fleet is already on its way. Their plan is to enslave mankind and they have the power to turn everyone into mummies.
