7 Episodes 2026

Episode 1

Die andere Hälfte

Freediver Sören Hunke has been found dead on a beach. It appears he was pushed and fell, striking the back of his head against a stone. After leaving a management consultancy in Cologne, Hunke had made a fresh start in Wismar. Initially, the victim's wife becomes the focus of the investigation: only the day before, fearing for her husband's safety, she had raised a false alarm at the police station-and now he has been found dead. It is a strange coincidence.

Episode 2

Königin der Hölzer

Sawmill owner Susanne Sievers is found dead in her workshop. A bloody sculpture at the crime scene points to the Kladow siblings - wood sculptors who are heavily in debt. Production manager Merle Osthoff is also a suspect, as customs authorities are investigating illegal imports of tropical timber. Furthermore, the customs investigator in charge, Patrick Falk, is a figure from Detective Joost's past.

Episode 3

Schnelles Geld

When employee Dennis Waletzki is found dead in the compost at a recycling center, the hunt for his killer begins. The victim had been secretly stealing electronic waste for fence Sonja Jeschke. Other suspects include Thore - a jealous colleague whose girlfriend Dennis had stolen - and Gregor Kreft, an angry tradesman who had clashed with him. Who lay in wait for Dennis after work?

Episode 4

Parallaxe

The body of Lennart Finke is recovered from a lake. He drowned after being struck and falling into the water. Who had a motive to kill the young man? An amateur astronomer and gifted astrophotographer, he was known for his impressive images - photographs that even appeared in respected specialist journals. Such work required expensive, professional-grade gear, yet his camera equipment has vanished without a trace. Was Lennart Finke the victim of a robbery-homicide? And how did he even finance his hobby? He certainly didn't earn much. After dropping out of a physics degree program, he worked at the State Museum of Technology, where he delighted children and school groups with engaging experiments. He was highly regarded by both visitors and colleagues - which makes the formal reprimand he received from his supervisor, Nicola Klein, all the more surprising. Lennart was allegedly accused of stealing museum property - a claim that hardly anyone among his colleagues believes. Was there a personal conflict between him and his boss? The amateur astronomer had set up a private observatory in his own garden. When it is discovered that his telescope was pointed toward the apartment of Katja Kovac, the case takes on a new light. Was Lennart secretly watching the young woman, and did that earn him enemies?

Episode 5

Der letzte Umzug

Werner Tessmer, the long-established owner of a moving company, is found dead in the cargo hold of a truck. Everything points to him having been locked inside. Who did it, and why? Tessmer was a restless workaholic who had sacrificed everything for his business - even his marriage. It is a mystery why he was in Wismar at all; he was supposed to be at a health retreat in Travemünde. The SOKO Wismar team begins an investigation. With whom could Tessmer have had a fatal confrontation? The investigation focuses on Kevin Peters, a former employee whom Tessmer had fired on the spot following a workplace accident that occurred while Peters was under the influence of alcohol. Is Kevin seeking revenge against his former boss? Rainer Koschnik also appears suspicious. As president of SV Wismar, he dreams of athletic success, and Tessmer's company was the club's primary sponsor. However, a decline in business forced Tessmer to end his sponsorship - a major blow for Koschnik, whose club now faces relegation without that funding. Chat messages reveal that Koschnik had urgently sought to meet with Tessmer shortly before the latter was due to leave for his health retreat. Did that meeting turn fatal? And what is the story behind the truck in which Tessmer died? It is packed with valuable antiques, yet none of the employees can explain which move this cargo was intended for.

Episode 6

Das Salz in der Suppe

Renowned violin maker Ralf Schilling is found dead in his workshop, having sustained three stab wounds to the chest. Once a disciplined man, he had changed significantly of late, directing harsh criticism at everyone around him. The investigation focuses on his daughter, Mathilde, and her husband, Simon - whose business he had disparaged - as well as his former partner, Silke Brandt.
