Linda Hunt narrates this documentary about the 1965-66 military takeover of Indonesia. The film asserts that up to a million people were killed by the forces of General Suharto, whose regime lasted until 1998. The hour also explores Indonesia's cold-war significance and charts the regime of Suharto's predecessor, President Sukarno. Also: an interview with a man whose brother was killed in 1966 and exhumed 35 years later.
