The unflinching crime drama with the spiritual bent comes back for a third and final season with top cop Grace Hanadarko (Holly Hunter) continuing her hard-drinking, reckless lifestyle while investigating murders, bombings and other serious crimes. She also tries to form a bond with a mysterious female drug addict (Yaani King) who shares a connection with Grace's last-chance angel, Earl (Leon Rippy). By mid-season, Grace becomes known as the "Angel Cop" after surviving a fall from a building, but her life soon starts a downward spiral that ends in a final confrontation with her demons.
