A 911 operator receives a phone call from a concerned landlord - after one of his tenants shoots an intruder inside of their home, on a remote property. Sheriff's deputies from surrounding counties of Colorado, collaborate to collect forensic evidence, preserve the crime scene and speak to any witnesses or family members, before moving any further with the investigation. Hours after the shooting, Deputies decide to drive out the the remote property and speak to the tenant. As they pull up in the driveway, deputies see the tenant at the door - holding a rifle, positioned directly at them. The tenant is then arrested, where deputies learn that he has been drinking liquor and wonder if the tenant was impaired during the shooting. The tenant then takes a polygraph test - passing everything.
