Kristin and JJ wanted to create a beautiful basement, and started framing it in. But a contractor friend informed them they'd done it all wrong. So they gave up, and left the basement as a place to keep their dogs. They still want a functional space, but have no idea how to go about it. Enter Kayleen McCabe and her crew, who will put this basement back on top. The dogs can stay, but the undefined space and flawed framing will definitely have to go.

Nick and Savanna began to remodel their bad basement four years ago. Nick did the demo, and started a few projects, including having a new support beam installed. However, the beam was not installed correctly, and Nick quickly realized he didn't have the skills to finish all these projects, so the basement has sat neglected for four years. Now, Kayleen McCabe and her crew are on hand to banish this bad basement, and turn it into a pub-style playground that both adults and kids can enjoy. Along the way, they'll install proper support, add a bath, reclaim the fireplace, and build a bar that's truly one-of-a-kind.
