Host Rob visits the capital city of Quito, where mountains, colonial architecture, churches, and handwoven goods abound. He takes an aero-lift to the highest point in the city; walks down the romantic Calle La Ronda; then visits the local underground music scene. Rob gives back by bringing supplies to a local school, and even helps teach an English language lesson. Then, he visits the dividing line between the northern and southern hemispheres and its related museum, Mitad del Mundo. He sees shrunken heads from years ago; visits Incan landmarks; and grabs some street food, before taking the bus to the smaller towns of Riobamba and Otavalo. Here he visits with a family who produce musical instruments and eats a traditional homemade meal.

Host Rob begins his travel in Quito, with the goal of visiting multiple destinations in Ecuador by bus. He stops in Baños and tries bungee jumping off a bridge, on the way to seeing the beautiful waterfalls of El Pailón del Diablo. He stays at eco-friendly hotel La Casa Verde; eats at one of the many Chinese restaurants nearby; and basks in a natural hot springs. Then comes a train ride in the town of Alausí, and a visit to the town of Cuenca. Attractions include a local museum and Incan ruins at Pumapungo, as well as a hat-making company. Next up is the port city Guayaquil, featuring the Parque Histórico and the Jardín Botánico. Finally, Montañita is a more tourist-heavy escape with an active nightlife. The beach attracts surfers and inspires Rob to take a surf lesson.

Host Rob describes Trinidad & Tobago as a taste of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East combined. Port of Spain features Maracas Bay, where Rob eats "bake & shark"; as well as nearby Lookout Point; and Lopinot Village - rich with Spanish heritage. He visits a store specializing in African instruments and other artifacts; then plays the steel-pan drum, popular during famous local Carnival Celebrations. A local expert reveals that Carnival preparations last nearly year-round. He then visits the St. James area to sample local cuisine, including Indian-influenced and Chinese-influenced food, as well as pigs' feet. He tries additional culinary specialties in Queens Park Savannah. Then he interviews a local rarity: a Trinny punk band. Lastly, Rob tries his hand at cricket.

Host Rob begins on the island of Trinidad, viewing Hindu sites at the Temple by the Sea, as well as in the town of Carapichaima. He visits the market in Chaguanas, then tries his hand at pottery-making. He learns about the Amerindian tribe that historically inhabited the area of Arima. He then visits the Point-a-Pierre Wildfowl Trust, which helps preserve wildlife inside the area of an oil refinery. Rob gives back by becoming a member and donor of the Trust. He visits one of several protected beaches helping to preserve wildlife. He then visits Pitch Lake, one of the few asphalt lakes worldwide. Later, he goes to the more tourist-heavy island of Tobago. Rob tries snorkeling in Buccoo Bay to check out the local reefs, then visits the oldest forest reserve in the Caribbean. Goat and crab races take place in the town of Buccoo during the warmer months. Meanwhile, Rob does the limbo and visits a weekly Sunday evening festival.
