The Sacred War

Tue, Sep 24, 2013

Annelotte travels through the woods and stumbles into a battle challenge set up by a betting organizer. The organizer challenges female warriors to challenge a big muscular female warrior in a bid to win coins. Because Claudette had canned the Queen's Blade tournament, illegal fights like this are one of the few places people can watch female warriors fight for entertainment. The muscle woman defeats two challengers, but Annelotte shows up and easily defeats her. The netting organizer tries to recruit Annelotte for his scheme, but the crowd is broken up when they learn that Sigui the Inquisitor is in town. Sigui and Elina travels into the village. Sigui goes about her business of greeting the people, while Elina gets bored and finds some shade to fantasize about Leina before leaving the village. At the same time, Annelotte hides in a nearby barn but gets groped by the muscle woman's land octopus. After making her rounds around the village, Sigui visits the local church and helps some young nuns with their holy poses. Sigui then holds a confessional at the church for the villagers to seek her guidance. At a bar, Annelotte learns about the confessional and also news that there is some mysterious magical fog in the Calibara forest to the south blocking the way of medicine transport. Annelotte decides to attend Sigui's confessional and seek the nun's advice on finding a life purpose. Sigui recommends that Annelotte submit herself to God, but when Annelotte refuses and the octopus shows up to attack Sigui, Sigui challenges Annelotte to a battle behind the church. In the battle, Sigui blasts Annelotte off of her feet with the holy flames. Sigui gives Annelotte one more chance to surrender, but Annelotte refuses, beats back Sigui's flames and strips Sigui of her clothing. The octopus interferes and gropes Annelotte, giving Sigui a chance to smite Annelotte with her flames. However, the groping somehow positions Annelotte into the Holy Pose: Fate, which defeats Sigui's flames. Sigui decides not to continue the battle and leaves after asking for Annelotte's name. After the battle, Annelotte travels towards Calibara, while Sigui tracks down the betting organizer and burns him alive.

Episode 3

The Moonlight from the Jungle and the Sun

Tue, Sep 24, 2013

After hearing about the thick fog in the Calibara Forest impeding shipping, Annelotte journeys into the forest hoping to solve the problem. In the forest, Annelotte is met by the Calibara tribe who brings her to their strongest warrior Luna Luna who had foreseen Annelotte's arrival. Thinking Annelotte is her destined husband, Luna Luna brings Annelotte to the tribe's historic ruins to report to their god, but Annelotte reveals that she is female. Annelotte is brought back to the village for a feast where she gets drunk. The next day Annelotte wakes up to find she is locked in a prison, and the village elder explains that he cannot let Annelotte leave now that she has seen the ruins. Luna Luna is in charge of guarding Annelotte but with her naughty dark-skinned Moon Dancer personality, Luna Luna wants to get frisky with Annelotte instead. The elder finds out and warns Luna Luna, who then goes to sleep without locking the cell door. Annelotte walks out but upon hearing the Luna Luna will be punished if she escapes, Annelotte returns to the prison cell on her own. Luna Luna is thankful to Annelotte for returning and wants to get frisky, but the elder finds out again and warns Luna Luna not to approach Annelotte again while putting chains and balls on Annelotte. Luna Luna, however, doesn't give up and transforms into her fair-skinned, innocent Solar Dancer personality to circumvent the elder's command and goes into the cell. Inside, Luna Luna turns dark again and starts groping Annelotte with her tentacles. Luna Luna then feels that something is touching her in return, but what she feels is the tendrils of a giant slug that is crawling into the prison. The slug barges its way into the cell but Luna Luna slices it apart with her tentacles and she and Annelotte are treated to a shower of slime. Luna Luna runs out to find her village being attacked by the evil magic giant slugs and she slices a bunch of them. Annelotte manages to grab the keys in the prison to free herself and runs out to help fight the slugs. The slugs retreat but form into a gargantuan slug that emits the thick fog that has been plaguing the forest. Luna Luna attacks the mega-slug but she gets bounced away by its tendrils. Annelotte activates her special powers and charges the slug with her phantom horse. Annelotte destroys the tendrils with her sword-turned-lance and then jumps at the slug. The Calibara god statue activates and causes Annelotte to lose her horse, but she manages to deliver a slash to the mega-slug's face. The ruins then activate and sucks in the mega-slug to seal it for good. After the incident, Annelotte bids goodbye to the village. Back in the village, Luna Luna convinces the elder to let her leave the village to follow Annelotte.

The Unstopping Hyper Vibration

Tue, Sep 24, 2013

In her lab inside the Queen's castle at Gainos, Ymir completes the Hyper Vibration Armor using the Vibration Stone she stole from Yuit. Ymir puts the armor on Mirim and tests by tossing an axe at Mirim. The axe is bounced back by the Vibration Field, but the vibration is too much for Mirim to take and she collapses. Ymir then brings Mirim in front of Claudette and Elina to show off her work. Claudette hits Mirim with a lightning strike which sends Mirim crashing through a few walls and columns, but Mirim is physically unhurt but unable to stand because of the vibrating armor. In a village somewhere, Yuit makes a few bucks selling her tabloid to the village people. Yuit and Vante are on their way to Gainos to rescue Mirim and recover Yuit's gem. On the road, they spot Luna Luna on a tree branch. LunaLuna is looking at Annelotte being surrounded by the Queen's soldiers below the ledge. Annelotte escapes and run up the hill with soldiers on her trail. Yuit and Vante spot Annelotte and chase after her as well, while another group of soldiers spot LunaLuna. LunaLuna uses her tentacles to grope the soldiers into submission but she loses track of Annelotte. Meanwhile, Annelotte, Yuit and Vante evade the soldiers by hiding in a small creek. Back at Gainos, Ymir learns that the soldiers have spotted Annelotte with Yuit and Vante and plans to send Mirim against Annelotte. Mirim overhears this and sneaks out into the city. Mirim finds refuge in the church and asks Sigui for help. After learning of Mirim's escape, Ymir comes out to track her down using her remote control for the armor. Ymir gets within range and turns on the armor which vibrates and makes Mirim squirm on the ground. Sigui mistakenly thinks that Mirim is possessed by demons and tries to spank out the evil out of Mirim with her staff, but her spanks are repelled by the armor and heightens the vibration. Sigui prepares to unleash her fire purification on Mirim but Ymir arrives and retrieves Mirim. At a rural road, Yuit and Vante part ways with Annelotte. Annelotte takes a road above a river and is met by Mirim who attacks with her Infinite Slasher chainsaw sword. Mirim swings blindly, but Annelotte cannot overpower her because of the Vibration Field. Back down the road, Yuit has a bad feeling and heads back to track down Annelotte. On the road above the river, Mirim disarms Annelotte and goes for the finishing blow. Yuit and Vante arrive and Vante launches a rocket punch to help Annelotte. Just as the rocket punch was about the hit, Yuit sees that the attacker is Mirim. At the same moment, Luna Luna jumps above to save Annelotte but ends up jumping onto the rocket instead. The rocket explodes and sends Luna Luna and Mirim flying. Luna Luna ends up lodged on a tree, while Mirim is retrieved from the forest below by Ymir. After the incident, Yuit affirms her mission to retrieve her family gem and save Mirim from Ymir, and Annelotte agrees to head to Gainos as well.

The Secret of the Castle at Gainos

Tue, Sep 24, 2013

At a Shai-Fang restaurant in Gainos, the Shaifang sisters Tarnyang and Sainyang complain about the food mostly because they don't have money to pay for the food. The restaurateur calls up some brutes to surround the sisters. Annelotte, Yuit & Vante are sitting nearby and Annelotte wants to help the sisters, but Yuit convinces her to leave to avoid getting noticed. However, while trying to leave Annelotte gets her cloak caught on a stack of boxes. Annelotte pulls free and accidentally causes the boxes to fall onto the restaurateur and his cronies and the sisters think Annelotte did it on purpose to help them. Outside, Tarnyang and Sainyang catch up to Annelotte's group and overhears their plan to sneak into the Queen's castle. To thank Annelotte, Tarnyang and Sainyang lead her, Yuit and Vante to an unguarded entrance into the fortress and gives them a map of the fortress, and Sainyang puts a protection charm on Annelotte. Annelotte, Yuit and Vante venture into the Queen's castle. The three try to locate Ymir's research lab to rescue Mirim, but instead they find the gladiatorial arena where people are watching and betting on fights. The betting organizer somehow survived from burned by Sigui and is at the arena making money off of bets once more. The betting organizer spots Annelotte's group and overhears their conversation, and so he offers to tell Annelotte's group the location of Ymir's lab but in exchange Annelotte has to fight in the gladiatorial arena. Annelotte agrees and is faced with fighting Branwen the enslaved Dragon Descendant. Annelotte can see Branwen is powerful and seems to enjoy the shock treatment from her master Dogura. Branwen asks why Annelotte is so determined to fight, and Annelotte reveals that she is here to rescue a friend from Ymir. Branwen responds by powering up and she clashes with Annelotte. At the moment, Sainyang's charm activates and damages the arena. The distraction knocks Dogura away, and Branwen tells Annelotte that Ymir's lab is above the arena. Meanwhile, the betting guy sneaked away from Yuit and Vante because he was just using Annelotte to earn a few more bucks and obviously didn't know where Ymir's lab was. Unfortunately for the betting organizer, he runs into Sigui who burns him alive for good this time. Annelotte, Yuit and Vante arrive at the courtyard above the arena and finds Ymir walking around. Ymir pretends to be stupid and states that she has no idea who Mirim is. Annelotte's group hears the sound of guard and decide go looking for Mirim themselves. Annelotte's group run into the hallways again where they are met by Luna Luna who is still tracking Annelotte. Unfortunately, Luna Luna has a group of soldiers on her trail, so now Annelott'e group is forced to escape from the castle. Annelotte's group (now including Luna Luna) find an exit, and Yuit orders Vante to cover their retreat. Vante unleashes her machine gun on the support columns to stifle the pursuers. The soldiers at the exit close the gate, but Vante rocket punches the gate out of the way. Mirim saw the commotion and came to see what happen, and she and Annelotte's group spot each other at the exit. Yuit tells Mirim to come with them but Mirim hesitates and then stays put. The damage of the rocket punch causes the exit to collapse and destroys the bridge leading from the exit, and thus Mirim and Yuit and friends are stuck on opposite sides of the gap. Annelotte, Yuit, Vante and Luna Luna escape to an abandoned cabin outside of Gainos, and Yuit notes that Mirim seems to have stayed on her own volition. Meanwhile at the castle, Sigui asks Ymir about the intrusion, and Ymir states that there isn't much to worry about but she has her eye out for Vante.

Episode 6

A Crown of Flowers and the Hidden Power

Tue, Sep 24, 2013

To counter Mirim's vibration armor, Yuit builds her own versions for herself and Annelotte, but Yuit's products only have the unsettling vibration but not the increased power and defensive abilities of Mirim's armor. Luna Luna returns the abandoned cabins and states that she heard from people that Mirim single-handedly defeated a fortress on her own, and the battleground is not too far away. Yuit knows that Mirim isn't fighting willingly and thus she wants to convince Mirim to go back home with her. And thus, Yuit and Vante journey to Mirim and Ymir's war camp. Yuit sneaks in and spies Mirim having a meeting with Ymir. Mirim gives Ymir a letter to send to her mother, but after Mirim leaves Ymir tosses the letter in the fire and this is seen by Yuit. Afterwards, Mirim goes out to a field of flowers to make a flower ring for Ymir, but Yuit and Vante appear before her. Yuit tries to convince Mirim that Ymir is only using her, but Mirim wants to continue because she feels that she is doing something good and being appreciated by Ymir. Yuit hears Ymir calling for Mirim and is forced to leave for now. Yuit and Vante return to the abandoned cabin to meet up with Annelotte and LunaLuna again. Yuit is bummed that she couldn't convince Mirim, but she refuses to give up and Annelotte agrees to help. And so the group sets up an ambush as Ymir, Mirim and some soldiers leave the war camp on their way back to Gainos. Yuit has Vante toss the cart of soldiers away while Annelotte fights Mirim. Annelotte can't stop Mirim's armor however, and LunaLuna jumps in to tie up Mirim but gets stunned by the vibration. Vante come to Annelotte's aid, but Ymir takes to opportunity to try to steal Vante's controller from Yuit. Yuit gets the controller back to force Ymir to retreat. Annelotte continues to battle Mirim and tries to stab out the vibration stones on Mirim's armor, but she cannot overcome the vibration field and is sent tumbling. Mirim comes in to deal the finishing blow, but suddenly Annelotte's collar activates and she transforms into a sinister-looking form with red eyes, pointy years, black hair, and gold armor. At the same time in Gainos, Aldra senses something is going on. Back to the battle, the sinister Annelotte breaks Mirim's armor with brute strength. Mirim tries to run but is overcome by the armor's vibration. Annelotte then tries to stab out the vibration stones on Mirim's armor. Yuit and Vante try to make Annelotte stop, but sinister Annelotte sends them flying with a wave of her hand. Annelotte then succeeds in breaking Mirim's armor and absorbed the dark red energy expelled from the broken vibration stones into her collar. After the battle, Annelotte returns to normal form and falls unconscious. Yuit comes to check on her friends, but she is knocked down by Vante as Ymir has gotten the controller. With Vante in possession, Ymir tells Mirim that she has no need for failed experimental subjects and rips the flower ring that Ymir had given to her earlier. Ymir orders Vante to attack, but suddenly Captain Liliana and her flying ghost ship appears and she steals Vante (and the controller) from Ymir.

A disappointed Luna Luna travels with Mirim to take her back to her home, who wanted to go with Annelotte to retrieve Vante from Liliana. Yuit and Annelotte travel to the Tamia hot spring resort, to gather information on Liliana's whereabouts. As they enter the town, they encounter Sainyang & Tarnyang once again rushing out of a restaurant, apparently running the same scheme at a Hinomoto themed restaurant. Yuit and Annelotte pay the bill for the twins, which Tarnyang recounts that this is the second time they helped them, according to the Shai-Fang saying. The four then talk and then realize that their goal is the same: board Liliana's ship and retrieve objects important to them, Vante for Yuit, and The Sacred Vessel for the twins. Tarnyang then shows on a newspaper that Liliana is coming to the Tamia resort for the Golden Goddess Bath, which Yuit recalls that, that is her newspaper, which all the information is false. Coincidentally, Liliana arrives, to raid the Tamia resort for the Golden Goddess Bath, much to everyone's surprise. Tarnyang yells at her, which Yuit silences and tells her that she has a plan. As they raid the place, one of Liliana's pirate soldiers takes the gold teeth from a old lady, which is quickly returned by Liliana, retorting that she does not steal from the elderly. With the loot gathered, Liliana leaves on her ship. Tucked away with the rest of the loot in the boxes, Annelotte and the others were able to board the ship to retrieve their items. They sneak through the ship, only to fall through the decrepit old floors. Yuit and Annelotte fall in Liliana's room, who is bathing in the Golden Goddess Bath. She mistakes them for her subordinates and Annelotte takes advantage of the situation and washes her, using her best gruff voice to play the part, as Yuit searches the room for Vante. Meanwhile, Sainyang and Tarnyang fell into the kitchen, and find their Sacred Vessel amongst the pickled goods. Tarnyang angrily exclaims loudly about the fact of their Sacred Vessel being mistreated, which alerts Liliana, who discovers Annelotte and Yuit. They quickly get surrounded by Liliana's pirates, and Liliana commands Vante to kill them. Back at Mirim's home, Luna Luna notices the poor conditions of the land that Mirim's family lives in. Indecisive, Mirim talks with her mother, who tells Mirim that its fine for her to join Annelotte's side. While Moonbathing, Luna Luna discovers a small strain of the Picanyushida Yadorishida, a plant from Calibara with potent medicinal properties. She then uses part of it to heal Mirim's mother of her sickness. Annelotte continues to fight against Vante, with Yuit helplessly trying to stop her from Liliana's control, as Sainyang and Tarnyang sit and watch from the deck of the ship. Luna Luna proceeds to do her Moon Dance, to attempt to bring fertility to the emaciated land around Mirim's home. After the ritual, Luna Luna falls to the ground, not moving. The fight between Vante and Annelotte ensues, with Yuit stopping Vante from shooting Annelotte by being hit towards Liliana. Mirim's family goes outside to see their land blooming with vegetables, some far larger than the normal growth. As Mirim's brother picks the vegetables, he comes across a very pale Luna Luna. Yuit successfully disarms Liliana of Vante's control, only for Ymir to retrieve it, who takes control of Liliana's soldiers through a higher authority. Liliana escapes, and the ship begins to lose control, causing the twins to fall down through the lower deck to Annelotte. Yuit retrieves Vante's control from Ymir. Luna Luna, who was sunbathing, tells the family that she performed the Moon Dance, and was revived as the Sun Dancer. The two shortly argue before Claudette silences them, and tells Elina to seek out the warriors gathering. Back at Gainos, Aldra cleans her home in wait of her husband and then goes to the town to purchase food for the meal she intends to cook when he arrives home. She then converses with Sigui at the Cathedral about her loss of memory, noting the only thing she remembers is the search for her sister. As Aldra walks home, she runs into Ymir. At the hideout, Mirim attempts to learn more about combat, but to no avail, as without the power of the crystals her armor has no real value. Dismayed, Mirim learns that she cannot actually do anything unless the armor works, but her spirits are brought up when Yuit mentions a possibility of a fix. In the sauna, the group then discuss the impact of the notices, and the fact that they all would enjoy the fact of Annelotte being Queen. Overwhelmed by the group discussion, Annelotte goes outside to get some time to think. Mulling over the situation, Annelotte rests on a stack of hay, becoming indecisive about actually becoming the Queen. She accidentally falls asleep and the haystack, which was loaded on a wagon begins to move away. Meanwhile, at Aldra's home, Ymir discusses the possibility of Aldra becoming a Summoner and convinces her to join the Queen's Army. With the book Ymir gave her, Aldra heads to the Swamplands and conjures up two demons, Belphe & Dogor, who inhabit two of the stuffed animals she brought along. The duo get unruly, but Aldra bludgeons them with a giant ladle, which she read from the book was the way to command them. Meanwhile, the hay wagon hits a hole in the ground, and Annelotte falls out, confused and disoriented. The rest of the group then split up and search for her, with Luna Luna traveling with Mirim, Sainyang & Tarnyang traveling together, and Yuit and Vante traveling along the river. Aldra then writes a farewell letter to her husband, promising to return after she finishes her goals. She goes to her room to find Belphe and Dogor missing, which the duo intend to eat humans. Ymir reports that Aldra has been successfully recruited, and Claudette then asks for Sigui.

A Samurai Arrives

Tue, Sep 24, 2013

At the castle, Claudette, Sigui, and Ymir discuss on getting rid of the rebels. Ymir asks for Sigui's assistance, which Sigui declines, stating that her place is as an Inquisitor, and not to go round up the rebels. Ymir then states the fact of that as her place as Inquisitor, Sigui has all the more reason to apprehend Annelotte, as she has demon blood in her, which makes Annelotte a heretic. Down in the dungeons of Gainos, Elina attempts to crush the hopes of one of the prisoners, who was also one depicted on the wanted posters. The prisoner then laughs, and speaks on the fact of the Phantom Warrior Maria, which Elina demands that the prisoner, Risty, reveal her true identity. Belphe & Dogor, weakened with hunger, scour the forest for food. Meanwhile, Annelotte is attacked by several children, who mistake Annelotte for one of the Queen's soldiers. The children are led by a warrior who calls herself the War God Samurai, Izumi. Annelotte is told that the village is filled with only children, yet the Queen's Army still raids parts of that land. Izumi then confronts Annelotte, and attempts to goad her into training her. Annelotte walks away, which Izumi treats as disrespect, and attacks her, only to be knocked down. Annelotte remarks on Izumi's attack, accidentally grading her, Alleyne style. The two then spar until morning time, with Izumi groping Annelotte and grading her in the same style. Two children then come to Izumi, arguing over a stuffed animal they found in the forest. Izumi and Annelotte are then alerted to a figure approaching the village, who turns out to be Maria, The Phantom Warrior, who was the other person listed on the wanted posters. The children and Annelotte and Maria begin to eat, with Annelotte recounting on the stories she heard of Maria. One of the children mentioned that she won the last Queen's Blade, and that she is Wandering Warrior, with another child constantly trying to keep him quiet. Maria quickly falls asleep, and Annelotte leaves, leaving an angry and disappointed Izumi behind. As Annelotte walks away, she hears screams in the distance and investigates, finding a empty camp, and a green stuffed animal floating, talking to itself about its meal, saying it ate Belphe's portion as well. Annelotte then recalls the stuffed animal she saw earlier with the children, and rushes back to the village. Belphe, who can't wait any longer, sets its sights on a sleeping Maria. It is then grabbed by Izumi, who realizes it's a demon, and begins to fight it. With the other demon, Dogor chasing her, (Who remarks that she smells like their owner) Annelotte makes her way back to the village, to assist Izumi. The two demons then assault the women, but are halted by the children. They succeed in distracting Belphe, allowing Izumi to fiercely attack it. The demon quickly gained the upper hand however, and proceeds to eat her, only to be stopped by Maria, who sends the demons flying with the technique Dragon Tail. Maria then sets off, giving words of encouragement to Izumi, Annelotte then sets off soon after, with a re-determined resolve.

Annelotte then loses control of her dark powers, and this is what Ymir (watching in the stands) is hoping for. However, Annelotte is guided by Aldra's energy to control her underworld powers and turn back into normal Annelotte. Aldra then leaves with her two demons, and Annelotte chases Ymir into the palace. Meanwhile, Sigui chases Yuit & Vante all over at the nearby church. Yuit & Vante ends up running off a cliff, and Sigui decides to investigate the explosion coming from the palace. The explosion was caused by Claudette firing her lightning strike, and she easily defeats Tarnyang and Sainyang. In the arena below the palace, Luna Luna and Branwen fight to a draw and both fall unconscious, and Luna Luna is captured by Branwen's master Dogura. Inside the palace, Mirim is at the doorway of Ymir's lab spying on Ymir, and Maria also seems to be in the room and has fallen asleep. Mirim is found out by Eilin, and Mirim discovers this Ymir doesn't recognize her. Mirim, the real Ymir and Eilin arrive to expose Melona, and Sainyang frees her comrades from the jelly using magic so that Luna Luna can grab Melona with her tentacles. Melona reveals her true form and traps Luna Luna, Tarnyang and Sainyang in jelly once again. Melona then proceeds to go on to explain about how everything is going according to the Swamp Witch's plan and even Claudette is not opposing the Swamp Witch. Claudette walks out and charges up her sword, but to Melona's surprise Claudette blows her up first. Deep within the castle, Maria frees Risty from prison before running off. Claudette states that she will maintain order with power and all who opposes her will be crushed. Luna Luna (now free because Melona got blown up) and Mirim attack Claudette but Claudette bounce them out of the tower. Fortunately, Yuit and Vante fly up just in time they catch Luna Luna and Mirim on the way. Because Claudette stated that God is no longer needed and claimed she was the only supreme being, Sigui switches sides and attacks Claudette with her fire, but Claudette repels the attack. Claudette then charges up lightning in her sword. Seeing an opportunity, Tarnyang and Sainyang try to block the attack with a barrier, but the ensuing explosion destroys the top of the tower. Laila arrives at the palace after learning from Izumi that Maria had gone to Gainos. Laila finds Ymir and Eilin and they are joined in the stands by mini-Melona to watch the action. Meanwhile, Mirim finds that Tarnyang and Sainyang are not breathing. Sigui jumps in and uses her Holy Pose: Healing to attempt to revive Tarnyang and Sainyang. Claudette reappears and tosses out some lightning which Mirim tries to block, and the explosion knocks out Sigui and Mirim. Annelotte charges in with her horse Ambrosius and a combined regular/demonic attack, but Claudette defeats her with a swing of her sword. Claudette unleashes lightning to finish Annelotte off, but Maria arrives to block the attack. Claudette recognizes Maria, but Maria falls asleep. Claudette hesitates and thinks about striking Maria down, but Annelotte puts herself before Maria. Seemingly struck by the determination in Annelotte's eyes, Claudette retreats and tells Annelotte's group to leave. Tarnyang and Sainyang come to, and Annelotte's gang leaves the castle and Annelotte tells her gang to get stronger and regroup in several months to start the real rebellion. Several months later, Annelotte and gang (now including Sigui) meet up in the Calibara tribe's sacred ruins. Vante is used to activate the Great Power statue and the ruins rise up into what appears to be a fortress to rival the Queen's fortress in Gainos.
