After spending ten years in prison for supposedly killing her friend Rosemary Lynch (Casey Tutton), Madeleine Scott (Rachelle Lefevre) finishes law school and creates a law firm dedicated to providing justice for the falsely accused. She also vows to find Rosemary's real killer so she and Levi (Riley Smith), her brother and co-accused, can be cleared once and for all. Joining Madeleine in her crusade are former reinsurance lawyer Ezekiel Boudreau (Russell Hornsby), media expert Violet Bell (Nikki M. James), and investigator Bodie Quick (Vincent Kartheiser). Despite her determination and legal acumen, Madeleine faces challenges from Rosemary's family and from ambitious state attorney Gore Bellows (Kelsey Grammer).
