After the death of his grandmother and the traumatic divorce of his parents, high school loner Prem is about to discover the harsh reality of growing up. Set in Greater West London, this potent and graphic coming of age ensemble series sees a teenager attempt to carve his own path to manhood as both he and those around him venture into the light and dark sides of life. Prem's bond with his father is shattered whilst distance grows between mother and son, leading him to life changing relationships with a troubled teacher, a victimised classmate and the object of his affection. Through a powerful and often surreal journey, Prem will see that he's the underdog about to find out what it takes to truly mature in a life that's already given him the middle finger.

Episode 1

Chapter I: Bad Eggs

After an emotionally devastating end to his summer holidays, Prem returns to school for the new year. The aftermath of his parent's divorce and the tragic passing of his grandmother are deeply felt throughout the day as things get heated with the arrival of a new student, Will. Prem's mother Neelam finds herself falling into a depressive state whilst Prem's father Parthav attempts to adjust to life without his family.

Chapter II: Saturdays Are for Cunts

Prem & Will's new friendship progresses as Will tries to convince him to come along that evening to an over 18s club night DJ'd by a school bully's older brother. Before making a decision, Prem will experience revelations through time spent with his little cousin Hiren. Meanwhile, Neelam meets with her sister in-law Kiran for some honest advice whilst Parthav takes the opportunity to break the silence with his daughter Nina in an attempt to make reparations.

Chapter III: Circles

There are high tensions at school as an inappropriate video of a female classmate circulates online whilst the consequences of Prem and Will's actions at the club night are viciously felt. Prem's teacher Mr. Pearce attempts to salvage his former relationship with an ex-staff member as Parthav and his once-mistress Nurse Malaya, find themselves at a crossroads. Neelam takes her first steps moving forward as she grows curious over a work colleague's long-term experience with phone sex.

Episode 4

Chapter IV: Trip16

Whilst on a school trip, Will brings Prem a special birthday present for them both to share. The hallucinatory effects of the gift come to life in this psychedelic episode where subconscious feelings are examined in auditory and visually stimulating fashion. Nina and Darren take a trip of their own as they journey to discover deeper meaning within their relationship. Meanwhile, Neelam confronts her increasing curiosity over phone sex without restraint and Parthav is shaken to the core after discovering a health issue.

Chapter V: Finger Foods & Spiral Moves

Prem and Mr. Pearce delve into a deep conversation regarding family and relationships. Prem prepares for his date with Suhina as he tries to shake off the nerves and pressures of what to do whilst drifting in and out of his own surreal thoughts. The daily routine of Will and his mother is revealed through their unstable relationship at home. Parthav finally sees a doctor about his medical issue, an issue that severely encourages him to re-examine his life.

Chapter VI: Exam

Nina's relationship with Darren experiences a huge turning point. Prem and Will's friendship is tested by a shocking discovery related to a recent incident at school where tensions boil during the day of their mock exams. An ex-lover eventually agrees to talk to Mr. Pearce after months of trying to contact her whilst Neelam takes a bold step for new direction in her life. Parthav's test results spur him to face his family causing Prem to confront the biggest realisation of his young life in this highly charged finale.
