British trip-hop ensemble Portishead doesn't perform often in the United States, but when they do, they strive to make it a special occasion, and that was certainly the case for the group's 1997 performance at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. At Roseland, Portishead's guitars, drums, and turntables were joined on-stage by a 35-piece orchestra, and Portishead: Roseland NYC is a video document of that concert, with the group performing 15 songs from their first two albums. Selections include "Sour Times," "Humming," "Cowboys," "Only You," and "Western Eyes."
