When Winston Churchill convinces the Americans they aren't yet ready to take on German forces, the Allies launch a three-pronged attack on North Africa. Patton, charged with capturing Casablanca, launches a complex, three-pronged attack of his own in which he faced face French forces allied with Germany. In the end, however, he is disappointed he didn't distinguish himself.

In this campaign Patton slaps and verbally abuses soldiers complaining of battle fatigue. Finally, an amphibious flanking tactic proposed by General Lucian Truscott enables Patton's forces to capture Messina and drive the Germans from Sicily.
