The third season of the drama series is split between the past and the future: back in the 18th century, Jamie (Sam Heughan) has managed to finally kill Randall (Tobias Menzies) during the battle of Culloden, while in 1948 Claire (Caitriona Balfe) moves to Boston with her husband and gives birth to Jamie's daughter. As time passes, Jamie starts working in England and has a son with a married woman, later returning to Scotland to work as a printer. After Frank (Tobias Menzies) is killed in a car accident, an adult Brianna (Sophie Skelton) helps her mother find a way to travel back in time so she can be reunited with Jamie but finding out where the Scottish man was located in 1765 proves to be incredibly difficult.
