History repeats as Amanda's daughter explores the house nextdoor where Anthony Clarkson's wife Mary grew up. Dan installs custom bespoke doors and the crew starts lime plastering.
Episode 2

Hay is made. Plastering is completed by Collop. A portion of collapsed road track is repaired. The family visits the Dales Countryside Museum. Amanda wants to redo a period fireplace.

Rubble is cleared and a garden is planned. A girls camping trip is held on the land. A vintage fireplace is given new life and a visit is paid to St Mary's Church in Muker where both the Owens and the Clarksons were wed centuries apart.

Sick cow and preemie calf are tended. Two youngest girls buy a tup for their rare spotted sheep ewes. Septic tank is installed and the underfloor heating system is used to dry the plaster. Clive's 70th birthday is celebrated.

Collop installs the vintage hearth. Amanda gets help from a lighting consultant. The kids learn sheepdog basics. Horses are shod. And the family has a funeral for Chalky the wire hair terrier.
