Bond of Brothers

Tue, Jul 26, 2016 45 mins

Combat medic Trevor and his buddy Pete serve in Bob's infantry platoon in the Afghan Tangi valley platoon. The boys bond ever closer in the primitive camp under constant danger, pranking, partying on a shoestring and playing like brothers. The fighters only 'exclude' the medic from the most dangerous jobs, realizing he, also sort of a moral officer, is indispensable, but a rocket propelled grenade hit by the Taliban sees him repatriated by helicopter as patient. He lands in wheelchair with a leg prosthesis, needing long rehab which only works when Pete rejoins him in Texas as regular partner in crime, occasionally aided by the rest of the band.

Episode 5

Deadly Force

Tue, Aug 2, 2016 45 mins

Another camp in Helmand, the 'wild west' most challenging Afghan province, is the pitiful operation base of a platoon Us soldiers who bond over pranks and parties. They are constantly confronted by ruthless Taliban, who know and use the terrain, indiscernible when they mix into the civilian population, fearing for their security and hat of Afghan troops and police. It's an almost un-hoped relief when they can return safely after a long, danger-spangled tour of duty.

Episode 6

The Warrior Ethos

Tue, Aug 9, 2016 45 mins

Two platoons face danger in the crucial, Taliban-infested Afghan province Kandahar. Platoon sergeant Ross sadly triggers a buried booby trap himself, yet remains calm while his medic takes charge until he can be evacuated by helicopter and rebuild his life at home after a leg amputation, with his comrades visiting. Paratroopers resolve to counter the elusive Taliban's network of hidden supplies by intruding the crucial mysterious and deadly 'karez' water supply tunnel system.
