P.J. has to deal with both her relationship with Jack and Bobby's doubts concerning marriage. The boys have a mustache-growing contest, and Meredith gives birth.
Episode 2
Tue, Apr 7, 2009
A month after Bobby's canceled wedding, house guest Brandon, though busy working on his club's renovations, detects that P.J. has a lover. His poker-mates mount a stakeout, captained by Mike. Bobby (the secret lover in question who joins to keep his cover) realizes he's become one of them, something well below his cultivated level.
Episode 3
Tue, Apr 14, 2009
Mike has P.J. questioning her qualifications as her paper's new columnist. Andy gives Bobby boyfriend advice. Mike and Kenny find they sorely lack Brendan's animal magnetism.

Episode 4
Tue, Apr 21, 2009
The boys expect the next board and quiz game decathlon to go ahead normally, but Bobby's and P.J.'s efforts and expectations, now that they're a couple, subtly undermine their participation. For a writing assignment, Stephanie presses the boys into allowing her to observe their spare time behaviors, but while their basic non-activity disappoints her, her article pleasantly surprises.

Episode 5
Tue, Apr 28, 2009
Brendan asks P.J. to run his life, Stephanie uses Mike in her new seminar, and Kenny goes all out for his new band.
Episode 6
Tue, May 5, 2009
Freezing in the icy Chicago winter, the boys consider the advantages of moving to Hawaii, all except Andy, who prefers the cold. When the weather flips, so do their moods, mainly to flirting. Mike, filling in for Brendan's 'sick' staff, proves himself a great barman, although his new dog and flirting-aid, Bingo, is a messy bother. While Kenny takes up with a woman met at the laundromat, and Stephanie cozies up to a hacky sack player, Bobby invites PJ to a park picnic. Forgetting ice to cool their beer, PJ insists on stealing some from a nearby open house; thus, they find and fall in love with a townhouse and the idea of moving in together. When the weather sours again, so do the summer flings, but will the true lovers' cohabitation plan survive?
Episode 7
Tue, May 12, 2009
The mates discuss the merits, possibilities, risks and side-effects of Facebook (de)friending - something Andy completely rejects. Brendan ends up proving his natural courting talent outclasses any technological approach by Mike, even including Word of The Day Calendar vocabulary. Bobby wrestles with PJ's warped ideas about exes and jealousy, inspiring the boys to speculate how the couple's possible break-up might divide them too. Kenny's illusion that he can get valuable friends is shot down, even in the virtual world.
Episode 8
Tue, May 19, 2009
Brendan begs Bobby to help him reason with his lazy bar partner John. Mike and Kenny are delighted with an elder, easy-going new bar friend, a man - that 'devil' - Andy hides from (none other then his former marriage counselor to whom he still owe money). Seeing him actually helping the mates come to terms with their asymmetrical work/friend relationship, Dr. Clayton surprises Andy yet further. Bobby, initially reluctant to double-date with PJ's new friend Emily from Stephanie's otherwise lame circle of friends, finds her partner Sean seemingly ideal for cultural double-dates. If only Sean thought so, too.
Episode 9
Tue, May 26, 2009
The sports reporters, assigned to follow the Chicago Cubs to Arizona spring training, lack an original angle. Nostalgic for school day spring-break, the mates arrange 'professional' excuses to join them. Brendan's latest hot pick-up turns out to be burly pitcher Fontenot's girl, working to make her beau jealous. Talented Cub-wannabe Owen Scott steals the show, luckily for the reporters.
