Monsters at Work
Tylor Tuskman had just graduated from Monster's University at the top of his scare class and has been recruited at Monsters Inc. as a scarer. However, the day before he started, Waternoose was canned. With Mike and Sully now in charge, the whole corporation is transitioning to a joke company. Tylor now needs to figure out how to become a jokester.

News anchors Jack and Jill visit Monsters Inc., to interview Sulley and Mike about their transition to laugh power, but it doesn't go as planned when the Laugh Floor is vandalized, Tylor suspects that Roger is responsible for the vandalism. MIFT tries to clean the Laugh Floor up, but they cannot remove the graffiti on the walls. MIFT tries to use discarded doors to cover the damage, but Mike accidentally reveals the vandalism before the interview can commence. Tylor reveals that Roger is Waternoose's son and he believes he destroyed the Laugh Floor. Roger confirms he is Mr. Waternoose's son, but he had nothing to do with the vandalism. Matters soon become worse when Tylor is accused of stealing items from his employees, but Tylor tries to defend himself and Val cannot collaborate his story. Tylor starts to feel betrayed and he furiously quits Monsters Inc., Duncan becomes smug about Tylor leaving while Sulley, Mike, and the rest of the employees are angry at Tylor. Val gets her position of becoming a jokester, but she feels guilty for not defending Tylor. At Fear Co., Johnny gets a call from Tylor and he asks Johnny if he can get a job at his company. Johnny asks Tylor about what happened at Monsters Inc.

Tylor and Val start their new jobs as scarer and jokester, respectively. However, Tylor's new job at Fear Co. proves to be all but true for him and he ends up outdoing Joy by scaring Ben, causing Tylor to feel guilty for scaring the child. While Val starts to enjoy being a jokester at Monsters Inc., but she is starting to miss having Tylor around. More revelations come into light, when Tylor learns that Johnny has been conspiring with Randall to destroy Monsters Inc. and he learns that Randall has framed him in the previous episode in order to get him to work at Fear Co.

After learning about Johnny and Randall's true motives, Tylor realizes that Johnny is planning to combine scream and laugh power to solve the energy crisis, despite the danger it may cause to the city. Tylor decides to enlist Val and MIFT to help him defeat Johnny and Randall. Tylor, Val, and MIFT decide to use Waternoose's old blue prints to separate scream and laugh power by using the scream extractor. Tylor soon apologizes to Roger for accusing him for being a saboteur, he forgives him and Tylor tries to apologize to Val, but she gives him the cold shoulder. At Fear Co., Tylor and Val try to distract Johnny so that the MIFT crew can prevent Johnny from combing laugh and scream energy. Randall tries to stop MIFT's plan, but he is defeated by Chet who is actually an undercover MERC agent. MIFT is able to separate scream and laugh energy and Tylor exposes Johnny and Randall's actions on live TV. Johnny and Randall are soon arrested by MERC, leaving the duo's revenge scheme to be in vain. Tylor and Val prove to Jack and Jill that laugh power is more efficient than scream power by entertaining Ben and the city is able to have power again. At Monsters Inc., Tylor is praised as a hero for defeating Johnny and Randall and he gets his job back as a jokester. Tylor and Val become the first comedy duo by making children happy together. However, Randall has escaped custody and he is now on the run, but Roz, MERC, and Duncan vow to bring Randall to justice and Fear Co. ends up getting their reputation ruined due to Johnny's crimes being publicly exposed.
