Masterchef Canada Invitational; Home Cooks, Your Roots Are Showing

Eighteen home cooks from across Canada are invited to compete by one of the three MasterChef Canada judges, each group of six is given a different protein challenge and their dishes will be evaluated by the other two judges. The top twelve competitors will earn their white aprons. In the second hour the twelve home cooks face a root vegetable mystery box, followed by an elimination challenge for nine of them which features nine different proteins, two home cooks will be eliminated.
