She sends her attractive son George to France for education against his wishes. She hopes that this will help him rise to higher levels.

Sir David Graham discovered -torturing her notary- Mary's debts and forged peerage genealogy and demands she and George withdraw, but Mary and her whore friend Sandie poison him.
