Fred falls asleep in the lab and dreams that his family is starring in a sitcom celebrating its 10th anniversary. The Edison's watch home movies and flash back to Turner and Harry's accident.

In his latest experiment Fred uses a giant chicken to try to get Harry back to normal. Idella becomes jealous of the amount of time Harry is spending with a female fly.

Trapped Like Rats

Tina wants to borrow Ikes's leather jacket for an upcoming date. Ike's refusal and Tina's persistence cause them to fight and end up in the Andromeda Chamber. Turner accidentally locks them in and initiates the experiment. Fred discovers them, but Turner can't remember the combo of numbers to unlock the door.

Love Thy Neighbour

Tina is away at Mensa camp. Harry has various discussions with ants. The neighbors, the Pratt's, house is being renovated. Thinking it's the neighborly thing to do, Fred invites the Pratts to stay with them. When Casey gets annoyed with their guests, but is too scared to ask them to leave, Harry takes things into his own hands.

When Fred finds out that Casey is jealous of the amount of time he spends with his guinea pig Fats, he becomes distraught. Fred's barber's advice is to get Casey something special, so Fred buys a home dance kit.

Fred prepares for a big movie, a TV remake of Gone with the Wind. Due to Turner's loose tooth, Fred misses most of the movie trying to putt Turner to bed. Turner dreams that he's visited by the Sandman, the tooth fairy and Mr. Coffee.

Lenny, Harry's long-lost twin brother, comes to visit and tells the family that he's dying. Fred, Casey and Idella try to hide what happened to Harry out of fear that it might expedite Lenny's death. Harry finds out anyway.

A recently released gangster sends two goons to look for Harry. They hold the family hostage after Turner let's them in. Idella takes the matter into her own hands when the gangsters can't seem to finish the job.

Fred's gets depressed and flashes back to his graduation. Richard tries to convince Fred to move. The show ends with everyone singing the Edison Family song.

Ike is struggling in his social studies class, which means he may have to attend summer school and ruin the family's vacation plans.

Idella is sad because her husband Harry (now transformed into a fly) can no longer be physical with her. Fred transforms Harry into a human-sized fly, giving them a second chance at love. This makes the family secret harder to keep secret.

Fred attends a perfunctory annual board meeting with the Edison family corporation. While there, he discovers a greedy new board member violating the company's founded principles. An outclassed Fred vows to fix the problem by himself.

Turner is tired of not being taken seriously just because he's a kid. After holding his breath in childish protest, he passes out and dreams about being the patriarch of the house. His fantasy eventually becomes a surreal nightmare.

Fred discovers that his prized record (A 78 of "The Twist" by Hank Ballard and the Midnighters) has been broken in half, and launches an investigation to determine which one of the kids is responsible.

A show performed live for a theater crowd, beset by many technical errors, flubbed performances, and a disastrous head injury. The actual plot itself presents an over-serious what-if scenario where Fred tragically dies of the common cold.

Tina is preoccupied with her upcoming trip to Europe while she overhears her parents fighting and thinks that they are going to divorce. Tina accidentally gets knocked out and dreams about reuniting her parents in various European locales.

The Cliffhanger

Fred recovers the data needed to reverse Turner and Harry's mutations. The show ends on a cliffhanger, transitioning into a backstage look at the series' wrap party. The cast and crew's egos clash, threatening the show's future.
