In Season 5 of the police procedural, family takes center stage. Buzz (Philip P. Keene) starts looking into the murders of his father and uncle, Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) applies to become a foster parent, Flynn (Tony Denison) and Raydor (Mary McDonnell) take new steps in their relationship, and Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) learns that his biological mother is pregnant. Personal issues don't stop the squad from doing their job, though: Amid the usual murders and violent crimes, they also investigate terrorist attacks, muggings, racist organizations, conspiracies and more.
