When a witness states that Trent was escorted by uniformed police going into the store being robbed, it becomes a corruption issue. It turns out June was connected to Trent, and this is how the case gets solved.

He was blackmailed by Russian gangster Vasilli Lukin, from Nunzio's turf, so the case requires cooperation. Sam mediates with social worker Maria Belanger, who seduces him without divulging her pa and the rivalry root, which Ray eagerly points out.
