The British version of the long-running U.S. procedural crime-drama follows the work of two separate yet equally important law enforcement groups. In the Metropolitan Police's Murder Investigation Unit, DS Ronnie Brooks and DS Matt Devlin investigate London's law-breakers. With cases including a pregnant woman murdered in a car park, a suspicious case of cot death, the death of a famous soccer player, and the possible return of a dormant serial killer. It's then up to the Crown Prosecution Service's James Steel and Alesha Phillips to ensure the culprits are brought to justice.
