Danny Bradbury is a Londoner who moved to Canada to marry a farm girl. He is a freelance journalist who writes about technology for major American and European newspapers. But he never goes to New York or London: he does all his work online in a sleepy prairie city. Follow him as he tries to make sense of his isolated online life, and as he struggles to grow his career in the emerging world technoculture.

Haidah, Iranian by birth, is the epitome of the successful immigrant. She is a successful lawyer, a spokesperson for refugees and immigrants, and a well respected member of the middle class. She embodies the values of all successful cultures: civic duty, a solid marriage, thriving children, and a commitment to helping others. This is a love story about an exotic couple, but also an illustration of another sort of love: the devotion of good people for the values required in civil society.
