Not to be confused with the similarly titled 1955 national television, "Johnny Carson" aired Monday nights on KNXT at ten for 13 weeks before being canceled.

According to TV Tele-Vues by Terry Vernon in the April 6th, 1953 Long Beach Independent: Johnny's new show comes equipped with built-in sponsors so he should be able to get quite a bit of good mileage this time around. He will be a successful young comic and grow old in the business if he follows his original format of lampooning (nicely) some of our ways of life. Tonight he takes a wack at 3D movies and does a take-off of "Needle of The Press."
