And daughter Emily and her husband Nick Troutman are both world champions. Son Dane is considered by many to be the top whitewater kayaker in the world. He attracts millions of YouTube views every time he goes over a waterfall. He continues to search for higher and faster waterfalls to conquer and races to win. Daughter Emily was a world champion right up until giving birth to her son Tucker. She is making her way back to top and will represent the USA in the World Kayaking Championships. Emily's husband, Nick Troutman, is a Canadian World Champion. He won 23 events in 2014 alone! This year he represents Canada in the World Kayaking Championships. EJ's wife Christine, their youngest son KC, and Emily & Nick's toddler, Tucker, are all along for the ride and adventure.
