The seventh season of House finds Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) and Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) attempting the impossible: making a relationship work between the two of them, and seeing that it doesn't affect treating or diagnosing the patients in their care. Martha M. Masters (Amber Tamblyn), a brilliant medical student, joins House's team per Cuddy's insistence, and is immediately presented with a complicated case involving a political campaign manager. When Cuddy herself lands in the hospital, House is forced to confront himself about falling short when Cuddy needs him to be supportive.
