Hairy Bikers' Mississippi Adventure
Hairy Bikers Si King and Dave Myers rev up the motorbikes for a road trip along the length of the iconic Mississippi river to explore the roots of soul food and southern music. Each delicious episode sees the boys focus on a different southern music genre - from Jazz and Blues, to Cajun, Country and Rock and Roll - and piece together the story of the music and food of the locations along their route. Their US trip takes them through cities including New Orleans and Memphis as they travel from near the Mississippi's mouth in the deep, sleepy south right up to Nashville over 500km north. Along the way the Bikers cook up all kinds of southern delights as they meet a selection of colourful local characters.
