The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, creator and owner of the Golden Globe Awards, has filed a lawsuit against Dick Clark Productions, accusing the company of breach of contract, Deadline.com reports. In the lawsuit, the HFPA writes that Dick Clark Productions — a partner on the Golden Globes telecasts for the last 20 years — secretly signed a six-year extension with NBC to air the awards without consulting the HFPA.
