The star of the series was Garfield, a lazy feline whose only desires in life were lasagna, catnaps and kicking his hapless canine companion, Odie, off the table. The show also starred Garfield's hopelessly-single owner, Jon Arbuckle. Each Garfield adventure featured Garfield's adventures and run-ins with the cast of semi-regulars (including Neurmal, an irksome kitty; Binky the Clown and the mice which inhabited Jon's house); most were satires on American life and pop culture. Each show also featured "U.S. Acres," another of Davis' strips; this strip was set in a barnyard and featured the adventures of such characters as Orson Pig, Wade Duck, Roy Rooster, Bo and Lanolin the sheep, Booker the chick and Sheldon, an unhatched egg.

Jonny Ragweedseed: In frontier America, Jonny Ragweedseed (Jon) with his cat Roosevelt (Garfield) walks from shore to shore to make sure that ragweed will cover the land and he is chased from sneezing town to sneezing town for his trouble. Grape Expectations 1: Roy rooster is put on trial for not staying at his post and guarding the crop of grapes. Catch As Cats Can't: Garfield is in the mood to catch a bird for dinner as is Gunther, another neighborhood cat.

Yuji Itadori, a kind-hearted teenager, joins his school's Occult Club for fun, but one day is visited by an actual sorcerer who can manipulate the energy between beings for their own use. He tells Yuji about a cursed talisman - the finger of Sukuna, a demon - and its being targeted by other cursed beings. Yuji eats the finger to protect his friends, and ends up becoming Sukuna's host. However, Yuji discovers that he has inherited magic and is able to control this power with some interference from Sukuna. He joins the Tokyo Jujutsu High to find and consume all of Sukuna's fingers, which will enable a full exorcism to take place that will free him.
