Crosby joins Sinatra in performing many classic Christmas songs, among them Sinatra's version of "Mistetoe and Holly" and Crosby's famed "White Christmas". Some of the songs are performed on a set with a backdrop of Victorian England; other songs were performed on a set that resembled a hip late-1950's bachelor apartment. This episode has been released in color on DVD.

The smaller band turns out to be Spike Jones and his City Slickers, who promptly transform the program into a non-stop musical joke. Jesse and Spike put on a Telethon to raise money for Frank, one of the great entertainers of "yesteryear." Frank is at first insulted, but then decides, "A buck is a buck." In the grand finale, Frank sings Spike's hit version of "Chloe", with Spike Jones backing.
