Animated version of the popular Muppet series "Fraggle Rock"; Survived only one season on NBC's Saturday Morning line-up due to tough competition (Pee-Wee's Playhouse at the height of it's popularity) and because it just wasn't as good as it's live-action inspiration. As in the original, the Fraggles are a group of odd creatures that live underground with the workaholic Doozers, while trying to avoid the giant Gorge's and the people in the human world.

Hip Hip Hooray! Fraggle & Farscape Make It to iTunes

The Henson cult faves of Fraggle Rock and Farscape have been rescued from nostalgia and added to the modern era of iTunes accessibility. Thanks to a partnership between the Jim Henson Company and New Video, you can now do the "Fraggle Rock Rock" anytime, anywhere (if you dare) starting Jan. 28. For sci-fi fans, all 22 eps of Farscape's first season will be downloadable, as will the first 24 Fraggle shows, for subterranean puppet sing-alongs — no strings attached. — Anna Dimond

At the Movies: Deadwood Sheriff Will Die Hard

Per the Hollywood Reporter, Deadwood's Timothy Olyphant has been tapped to play Bruce Willis' nemesis in Live Free or Die Hard. Also new to the cast is Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Final Destination 3) as McClane's daughter.... Kelly Preston and Michelle "the next Scarlett Johansson?" Trachtenberg are a single mom and her eldest daughter in The Possibility of Fireflies, an adaptation of director Dominique Paul's novel.... Per Variety, the Jim Henson Co. has enlisted Ahmet Zappa to pen a big-screen outing for the '80s kids' show Fraggle Rock.
