Bethany Montrose has just joined the company and is still dealing with the ethical issues involved with cloning but sets that aside when it becomes obvious to her that White is having an affair with his lawyer, Monica Donovan. It seems that White has a very specific reason for the regeneration of his late wife, especially her memories, which hold the password that will give him access to a major technological breakthrough.

Bethany finds a reference in the files to a Level 6, which she did not know exists. When she checks it out, she finds a bio-mechanical bug-like creature. Laura meanwhile is upset when Colin Sommers ends their relationship - but that's not all he's done.
