Introduction of the 10 original martial artists—five men and five women. They arrive in Beijing to begin intense conditioning. The first competitive tasks lead to the debut elimination match, resulting in the exit of Andrew Spink

The training intensity escalates under Shifus Clive Elliott, Nathan Lewis, and Becky Riggs. Following the weekly martial arts showdown, Dominica Oatley is eliminated from the temple.

Contestants face extreme stamina tests. A tense selection process places Susan Reilly in the bottom tier, leading to her subsequent elimination fight and departure.

The competition hits a tipping point when martial artist Alex Campbell is forced to leave the show due to injury. To maintain the numbers, replacement Toby Russell is brought into the school. In the elimination bout, Danny Ho is sent home.

The remaining fighters push through advanced Shaolin technical routines. Following the performance evaluation and final match of the week, Don Klass (brother of pop star Myleene Klass) is knocked out of the competition.

The ultimate showdown features Emma Ashford and Paul Bernard. After a grueling last set of challenges and an intense ring battle, World Kickboxing Champion Paul Bernard defeats Ashford to be crowned the ultimate champion of Fight School.
