Satoru Fujinuma is a Manga artist who moonlights as a pizza delivery man. At the onset of the show he is experiencing a crisis of the soul. While saving a child from being killed Satoru explains that he has the ability to go back in time to save lives. Satoru cannot save himself as he ends up in the hospital immediately after this. This prompts his witty mother and strange coworker to become more involved in his life as he begins to unearth some dark memories of his past. Just as he begins to find the courage to face these demons tragedy strikes and his power to travel back in time may be the only way to save himself.
