Enquiring Minds
Enquiring Mind series is produced for primary school students and encourages students to develop their interests and hobbies into careers through university study. The television series and website has been developed by the Bridges to Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP) and Television Sydney, TVS Digital44. Bridges to Higher Education (Bridges) programs aim to engage students through learning activities to support academic outcomes, and inspire students about the possibilities of higher education. Enquiring Minds has been produced with the cooperation of the five partnership Sydney universities with the aim to improve the participation of students from disadvantaged communities in higher education.

Episode 1
Photographer and Animal Researcher
Fifth grader Ocean is interested in photography and one day wants to travel the world taking pictures. Presenter and photographer Holly shows Ocean how professionals get great shots and gives her a few handy tips and tricks. In the second half of the show animal-lover Kurtis meets Ben Dessen, a university student with a passion for saving animals, who introduces him to a few of his slithery friends.
Episode 2
Building Bridges and Specialist Surgeon
How cool is it to build things? Aayush likes to be creative and has even designed an amusement park with an elephant bridge! Presenter Sacha takes Aayush to meet Jennifer MacDonald, a lecturer in the built environment, who explains some of the methods and materials used in building bridges. In the second half of the show, budding surgeon Yang Yang gets to operate on a "live" robotic patient, and perfects her suturing skills under the watchful eye of Prof. John Cartmill, surgeon.

Fashion Designer and Vet Nurse
Lulu loves fashion and has even designed a few creations of her own. In this episode, Lulu gets to meet Beattie Lanser, who has started her very own fashion label and shows her the process behind designing and making clothes and accessories. Presenter Holly then takes animal-mad Dylan to meet vet nurse Fabian Barcelo and vet Jane Cochrane to see what happens at a veterinary clinic - but ends up seeing some oversized cats!

Fun, Games and Sharks!
Luke and Tadhg love playing computer games and when presenter Holly gives them the chance to meet game designers Ben Lee and Kyle Orth, they jump at the chance. Later in the show, presenter Lachlan takes intrepid kid reporter Naia snorkeling with Sydney shark researcher Kate Lee.

Forensic Investigator and Ancient Egypt
Ben can't wait to roll up his sleeves and become a crime scene detective - he's even got a fingerprint kit to make a start! In this episode, presenter Sacha takes Ben to meet real-life forensic scientist and crime photographer Dr Glenn Porter to help realise his dreams. Later in the show, presenter Lachlan takes seven-year-old Amber on a journey to ancient Egypt with the help of Ronika Power, where she comes face-to-face with a real Egyptian mummy!

Amazing Robots and Micro Bats
When most of us hear the word robot we instantly think of sci-fi movies and TV shows. But as sixth grader Gemma finds out, robots are actually all around us in everything from the radio controlled cars to mum and dad's dishwasher. Later in the episode, presenter Lachlan takes Anastasia to meet Dr Leroy Gonsalves, who studies tiny bats and their environments.

Paintbrush or Toothbrush?
Art helps us express ideas using different techniques. In this episode, presenter Sacha meets Sabrina a sixth grader who has been inspired by the legendary works of Pablo Picasso. Together they meet illustrator Alex Lehours who explains some of his techniques and how to become an artist. Meanwhile, Holly takes second grader Lucinda to sink her teeth into a career with bite as she meets dentist James O'Regan.

Line of Duty and Beautiful Beetles
We've all seen fictional crime fighters in action battling bad guys, but Sabrina and host Holly get to meet the real life police officers who protect us every day. Budding entomologist Alex then gets to meet Dr Tanya Latty, who shows him some pretty cool invertebrates including a rhinoceros beetle complete with horn on its head!

Animation and Space Worlds
Computer Generated Imagery - or CGI - is in all the latest movies and video games, and seems to be getting more realistic by the day. In this episode, animation and computer enthusiast Matthew meets Dr Chek Tien Tan who demonstrates how human motion is transferred onto a virtual corrector and into computer games. Later, host Lachlan takes stargazer Eliana to meet Prof. Bryan Gaensler to explore the world of space.

Paperbacks and Artefacts
Do you ever write down your dreams or thoughts on a piece of paper or in a special book and share it with your friends and family later? Presenter Bec takes fledgling writer Sarah to meet some cool authors, including poet Johanna Featherstone and Andy Griffiths. Later in the episode, budding archaeologist Alisha meets Dr Craig Barker, who shows her Australia's oldest university museum and the fascinating artifacts it contains.
Episode 11
Refugees and Human Rights
In this special episode, young would-be lawyer Owen travels to Malaysia with host Holly to see how refugees prepare to come to Australia. Owen learns and assists refugees as they are taught how to live life in Australia, from learning English to how to stand on a surfboard. Human rights advocate and international law specialist Prof. Steven Freeland provides insights on what it's really like to flee a troubled country for life in another country and how a career in the legal profession can assist the democratic process.
