Irresponsible freshmen Sanford and Del, buddies since high school, arrive at third-rate Barder College oblivious to what higher education is all about, and are forced to live with uptight pre-med student Joe.

Animated characters, Karaz and Chino sat TV-side, ragging on music videos in the hip-hop genre. Their irreverent humor, often compared to fellow MTV smart-asses, Beavis & Butt-Head, was short lived, but drew loads of fan mail and a subsequent cult following.

Roughly-drawn but well-written cult cartoon about alien invasion. Small aliens on Earth, needing human receptacles, expand their hosts' craniums to ludicrous dimensions to use as living quarters. One such alien inhabits an average bloke's head during a mugging, giving him special powers to fight off his attackers. He explains that he's on the trail of an enemy from his planet, who's looking to take over the world. Not believed by anyone, and as a stand-out with his huge head, he teams up with a group of other freaks to save the world. They have to battle not just the alien, but the FBI agents also on the trail - and things aren't helped by his girlfriend, whose head is taken over too.

A fat male humanoid called Gruntus Primus Maximus (typically called "The Maximus") produces an entire race of yellow-eyed, and blue-haired humanoids, which are born from his noxious bodily fluids. The race is called "The Grunts". They have their own religion (which is focused on the production and consumption of cheese) and they live as a religious brotherhood in an isolated monastery within the wilderness. A brother called Perry was involuntarily elected as the "Chosen One" (the leader of the monastic order), but never wanted the pressures associated with leadership. He flees the monastery and decides to live among ordinary humans. His biological brothers (named Bing, Dean, Frank, Sammy, and Tony) decide to go on a quest to bring Perry back. Being unfamiliar with human culture, they have increasingly strange encounters with police authorities, prison inmates, outlaw biker gangs, and other supposedly normal humans. The brothers are repeatedly chased by an obsessive police detective, who is convinced that they are dangerous lunatics.
