Slave Hunters is a historical drama in a time where slaves were crucial to life (did all the chores no one else wanted to do) but considered the lowest rung of society. Because of the cruel conditions, slaves often ran away and Slave Hunters were employed to bring them back. This story revolves around a trio of Slave Hunters who are paid to track down a general-turned-runaway slave (Song Tae-ha). The Slave Hunters leader (Lee Dae-gil) also searches for the woman he loved 10 years ago who was a slave (Un-nyun). Plenty of fighting, politics, and interwoven storylines ensue in this beautifully choreographed 24 episode Korean 2010 drama.
