Finally, babka cheesecake, pickled cherry blossoms, canary melon, and bacon brittle are required in the dessert round.

Yogurt soda, carved melons, Serrano ham, and ice cream tacos must be used in the dessert round. Which chef will present the most creative and tasty dishes and win the $50,000 prize?

Pastry chefs compete in three rounds of a special chocolate desserts competition that feature a crunchy round, a gooey round, and a fruity round rather than an appetizer, entrée, and dessert round. Ingredients featured in the crunchy round include milk and chocolate chip cookies, chocolate-covered shrimp chips, fermented honey, and tamarillos. Kumquats, miso, chocolate ganache tarts, and spicy chocolate wings are mandatory ingredients in the gooey round. Two chefs will compete in the final fruity round featuring white chocolate banana pudding, freeze dried raspberries, sweet beef jerky, and ruby chocolate candy bars to become the Chopped champion.
