Episode 1
Everything has suddenly got a whole lot darker. Genial Dave has abruptly left the hospital, to be replaced by the humourless acting Sister Mitchell, and out on the streets there is gang warfare.
Episode 2
Mr. Downing vents his spleen, while the patients just talk about theirs. Keely is still seeing Billy, and now nurses a desire to become a nurse.

Episode 3
Woods calls Steve back into the hospital for, she says, purely professional reasons. Meadows & Mitchell squabble like sisters over who should be sister. The cop called in to investigate whether Amanda's baby is her's is married to the job.
Episode 4
There's no more maybe over Amanda's baby. Can Diane's beauty and charm match Sandra's sure snooty smarm?
Episode 5
A smile returns to Diana's dial. Keely's results are positive but her reaction negative. A posh pretty patient turns boys' heads. Lisa behaves very inhospitably.
Episode 6
Valentine's Day proves a temporary distraction from the action, and has staff and patients alike cooing even more than normal.
Episode 7
The break of Dawn comes when she cries over her operation. There are pregnant pauses about Keely's condition, but can Billy temper his temper? The staff finally get a patient who doesn't understand English, instead of just acting like it.
Episode 8
Woods is in a huff, Kieran's a scruff, Diane's too tough, and Mags has had enough. You can tell everyone is upset when even Jack starts to appear a little bit human.
Episode 9
Keely now has the grand title of "voluntary assistant play therapist", but her main play seems to be with Billy's heart. Meanwhile, the Romeo & Juliet story between members of rival gangs heats up, but the lady who doth protest too much is Diane.
Episode 10
The only dose missing is a dose of realism when patients and visitors turn the ward into a brawl room.
Episode 11
Dawn dies and Melanie cries. He may have a paintbrush in his mouth, but it doesn't stop J.J.'s cheek. Steve isn't willing to brush the new boy's supposed carpet-based injury under the carpet.
Episode 12
Matthew takes the Romeo & Juliet storyline too far by contemplating suicide, but Lisa steps up just in time. Diane is wanting to leave, but her front is far too attractive for anyone to want to see the back of her.
Episode 13
Dominic takes his twin Richie's place in exchange for a skateboard, but will need to get his skates on to get back on time. The kids put on a play, but as always the ward itself is more entertaining.
