Season 2 Episode Guide

3 Episodes 2014

Episode 1

The Van

Rejected as a parliamentary candidate Bob returns to selling burgers from his van, aided by Frank. However his old enemy Hendo brings in council employee Megan who challenges him over his lack of a vendor's licence. Bob loses his appeal and the support of Frank, who is dating his swimming coach Dorothy. However he relaunches his burger bar as an off-shore disco, which does not breach council regulations.

Episode 2

Court

Whilst Bob is doing business from his water burger disco Hendo appears with Megan and Bob loses control, ending up in court on an assault charge, having dropped a bin bag full of frozen burgers onto Hendo. With an inept lawyer Objection O'Malley Bob decides to defend himself but his theatrical style and Hendo's exaggeration of his injuries do not go well for him until he has a final, winning ploy to clear his name.

Episode 3

The Wedding

Frank is marrying Dorothy but best man Bob wants to hog the limelight at the ceremony. He is also appalled to learn that the happy couple mean to move to Fife after the ceremony, losing him his best friend of fifty two years and so he takes drastic action to prevent the move, abducting Frank. Banned from the wedding and rejected by Megan Bob sets out to make amends with a self-deprecating speech - which has the desired effect of keeping Frank and Dorothy at Broughty Ferry.
